Colour Hitachi CSP-680 solid state television, 1971; veneered plywood casing with various adjustment controls under speaker or on side e.g. on / off button, volume control, brightness, aerial attached to back / top

On Front:

i) Screen, 36cm x 27cm, towards left hand side.

ii) Metal strip, 33cm x 3 cm, right of screen, containing, from top to bottom, a pull-on and volume control, a brightness control (both cuff-link shaped plastic), a colour control, and a tint control (both rectangular plastic in 4cm sliding slots).

iii) Speaker and cover, 21cm x 9cm, right of metal strip.

iv) Channel dial, plastic, 4cm diameter, above speaker (see measurements and inscriptions for details)

On Right Hand Side:

Control panel, 11cm x 6cm at off-centre bottom Brown plastic. Containing 2cm diameter alternative contrast control and on /off switch.

On Back:

i) Aerial plug, set in 6cm x 4cm panel, towards left top.

ii) Bag of Silica gel, 16cm x 10cm, right of aerial plug, still attached.

iii) Plastic cover with aeration ridges covers most of the back

iv) Bottom centre, set 22cm apart, attachements for winding the lead

v) Lead and plug winded around above, 230cm.

At Base:

i) Four rubber legs set into wooden bases

ii) Two areas 20cm x 11cm of perforated wood - speakers?
