Plate, pearlware with a slight blue tinge to the glaze, circular form with inset base, curving sides and spreading rim, a moulded 'shell' edge to the rim with three pairs of raised leaves; decorated in underglaze blue with to the well an oriental scene enclosed by a diaper border, the shell edge and the moulded leaves edged in blue.
