Saucer, soft-paste porcelain, cinquefoil shaped with short foot-rim and gentle curving sides, lobed edge with five indentations to rim edge at each a ridge graduates into well, indented well; underglaze mazarine blue border to rim creating a cinquefoil white reserve, decorated in gilt with two birds in flight in well centre, numerous birds with foliage in reserve and ornate floral border, gilt border to well indent, and gilt dentil edge to rim, gilt band to footrim; glazed.
