Linen ground embroidered with coloured silks in satin and other flat stitches. Border of wavy stem with oak leaves and acorns. Verses in praise of George VI at the time of his coronation composed by the worker, interspersed with naturalistically worked motifs of various animals, tents, a palace, monogram E with figures of the princesses and monogram GR VI surmounted by crown.
