Souvenir plate to commemorate the passing of the National Health Insurance Act, 1912.
Plate, transfer-printed in green, decorated with image of David Lloyd George in centre with the initials NIA on the top of the rim of the plate, with two ribbons decorating either side of the portrait with the words THE NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE ACT. The rim of the plate is also decorated with a ribbon printed with the names: ASQUITH, CREWE, CHURCHILL, GREY, SEELY, WOOD, SAMUEL, BURNS, PEASE, BEAUCHAMP, SIMON, ACLAND, URE, MASTERMAN, ISAACS, HOBHOUSE, RUNCIMAN, BUXTON, BIRRELL, GEORGE, HARCOURT, McKENNA, MORLEY HALDANE.
