Tea bowl and saucer, hard-paste porcelain, tea bowl standing on a foot rim, flared body and everted lip; decorated in polycrome enamel and gilt with two chinoiseries, one of a chinoiserie figure seated before a table holding a bowl, flowers to left, the other of a chinoiserie figure crouching before an covered vase, spray of flowers to left, both surrounded by gilt and purple lustre, shaped cartouches with iron-red and pink scrolling, spray of flowers to bottom, ornamental gilt border to inner lip. The saucer standing on a foot rim, spreading body and everted lip, decorated in polychrome enamels and gilt with a figure standing before a table playing with two ferret-like animals, bird and insects above, plant to left, surrounded in a gilt and purple lustre, shaped cartouche with iron-red and pink scrolling, ornamental gilt border to lip, three iron-red concentric lines to underside.
