Pot, coffee and cover
Coffee pot, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a rounded spreading waisted foot-rim, bulbous pear-shaped body with short cylindrical neck, triangular beak spout moulded with foliate scrolls to the underside, scrolled wishbone handle with foliate moulding at the upper terminal and shoulder and a moulded scale pattern along its length, round domed cover with to the top a finial modelled in the form of a flower bud with a stem and leaf; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the front of the exterior body of the coffee pot a scene with a female figure and children in rustic costume holding baskets and standing besides a classical monument, around the rest of the exterior body of the coffee pot and the top of the cover are scattered floral sprigs in puce, the spout and handle picked out in puce, the flower bud finial painted in puce and green. A narrow crack to the neck of the coffee pot, the rim of the cover chipped.
