Iron Age bone weaving comb
Central part of a weaving comb made from a fragment of a large mammal bone (cow/horse??). All thirteen teeth have broken off and only the stumps or saw marks survive. The edges have been carefully rounded and taper in 25mm from the teeth to form rounded shoulders leading to a tang with sub-rectangular cross section.
