Mug, red earthenware, standing on a rounded spreading foot-rim, cylindrical body, roughly formed vertical lip-rim, concentric ribs to the body producing a closely banded effect, roughly moulded plain loop handle, extensive plaster restoration to the lip-rim, body and handle; the interior and exterior of the body covered all over with a rich dark brown glaze, the restored areas overpainted in brown.
