The Flammulina was an 8,203 gross ton motor tanker built at Belfast tn 1943 as the Empire Industry. In 1946 she was bought by Anglo-Saxon Tankers, the shipping division of Shell Petroleum and re-named after a particular type of shell, as were all the Anglo-Saxon tankers. M.V. FLAMMULINA. Built 1943 as EMPIRE INDUSTRY (2) by Harland & Wolff, Belfast, for MoWT (managed by Gow, Harrison & Co). 1946 – Sold to Anglo-Saxon Petroleum Co.,London, and renamed FLAMMULINA. She was broken up at Hong Kong in 1960.
