Recommendation letter for S.R. Davies
Cream paper with hand written details in black ink. Recommendation letter to certify that S.R. Davies served as fouth engineer on S.S. GLAMORGAN, dated June 6, 1907. Signed by the chief engineer - John Anderson - and master - D [?] Jenkins.
The S.S. GLAMORGAN was completed in 1906 by Craig, Taylor & Co. Ltd. of Stockton-on-Tees for Jenkins Bros. of Cardiff. Sold in 1919 she was wrecked in the St. Lawrence River in November 1923.
