With similar design to obverse, centre: St Peter holding his keys : dext. a bishop (perhaps St Ethelwold); sin. St. Ethelreda crowned. In base, under a wide arcaded arch, five persons (possibly five monks) in a primitive boat riding on waves (suggestive of access to the Isle of Ely).
