linen dress; grey; waisted with buckle at the back; bodice is V shaped at front & back; elbow length sleeves; cross-over skirt opening off centre as far as hipline & fastened by 7 press-button fasteners & by hook & eye at waistline; V shaped net front inset in bodice & front & back, brightly embroidered in different colours & with metallic thread; similar net inset into sleeve, from elbow to wrist; 7 machined tucks at shoulder line; skirt has 2 large diagonal tucks; bodice sleeves & sikirt decorated with embroidered panel in brown, orange & green; bodice trimmed with 19 ball shaped brass buttons, sleeves with 6 similar buttons.
