Sugar bowl and cover, hard-paste porcelain, standing a foot rim, cylindrical sides tapering inward at base, domed cover with applied acorn finial and stem; decorated in brown enamel, one side with a landscape with two figures in the centre next to road, bridge to right, tree to right, building behind, opposite a smaller landscape with a figure to the right next to a ruin, two figures to the left in the distance, ornamental gilt border to lip, gilt border to foot rim; cover decorated on eitherside of acorn finial with landscape scenes, one with a figure in the foreground, building to right, tree to left, the other with a river in the centre, tree to left, ruin to right, acorn gilded, ornamental gilt border to rim.
