Henry Norman (1897-1967) was a coal trimmer in Cardiff Docks, and subsequently worked at Whitbread Brewery. He enlisted in the Army on 18 March 1914 and was demobed on 3 March 1919. He held the rank of Driver with the Royal Field Artillery. On applying for a Disablement Pension in 1920, he stated that he was 'suffering from attacks & pains in the stomach. The effects of gas.'
