Box type - a strong wooden frame housing a heavy wooden box weighted with stones for travelling over clothed wooden rollers placed across the bed of the lower frame. The box cranked to and fro by means of an iron handle fitted into a gearing mechanism attached to a chain and secured to both ends of box.
