Full title - The Railway Sesquicentennial Medallic First Day Cover. First day cover issued 13th August 1975 to commemoratethe 150th anniversary of the world's first steam passenger train. Set within the cover is a silver medal especially struck to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Stockton & Darlington Railway. The cover is in a plastic slip within a green plastic wallet, with the title printed on the front in silver.
