Cart wheel comprising steel tyre, seven ash felloes, fourteen oak spokes, and elm hub; two tapering spokes fit into each felloe; mortice joints used to fit spokes into hub; chamfered edges on felloes but other parts only partially shaped; iron band on end of hub; hole through centre of hub for axle to fit through; wooden parts painted red.
The wheel was intended for use on a vehicle to be used by a firm of undertakers but was never used.
