Cup, tea and saucer
Tea cup, soft-paste porcelain, London shape with short foot-rim, concave lower sides and flaring trumpet-like upper sides, handle composed of two delicate struts joined by a vertical projecting at both ends; painted in enamels and gilt with pattern 623, around the interior sides a wide border of flowers and leaves issuing from a gilt stem, a rose sprig to the interior bottom of the cup, around the exterior sides a narrow foliate band, gilt lines around the foot-rim and lip-rim, the handle picked out in gilt. Saucer, soft-paste porcelain, short foot-rim and curving spreading sides; painted in enamels and gilt with pattern 623, around the sides of the well a wide border of flowers and leaves issuing from a gilt stem, a rose sprig to centre of the well enclosed by a gilt line, a gilt line around the edge of the rim.
