Casgliadau Arlein

Miniature plate, earthenware, circular shape with inset base, curving sides and spreading rim, the rim moulded with embossed floral sprigs enclosed by foliate swags interspersed with ribbon-tied floral garlands; transfer-printed in black and overpainted in red, pink, yellow, green and black with to the centre of the well a spreading spray of flowers and foliage, the moulded floral sprigs to the rim overpainted in red, yellow, green and brown, a brown edge to the rim.
