Tea urn of Sheffield plate, standing on four bun feet, shelving, square base, surmounted by a pedestal stem with spreading foot, ovoid body with a concave collar, containing a steeply domed cover, pierced finial with urn shaped knop; twin ring handles suspended from rams head masks, facetted tap with rotating vertical spigott with stained ivory handle; on the interior of the cover a pierced plate with seven cross shaped holes, to the interior of the collar a cylindrical ring, in the centre of the interior body, a vertical cylindrical fire box with separate iron billet, disc collar with central hole and cover; the whole in neo-classical style with closely spaced horizontal reeding to the feet, base, shoulder, rim and finial.
