Casgliadau Arlein

Reconstruction drawing by Brian Hope-Taylor in 1954 as commissioned by TGE Powell as a study of the function and manufacture of the Mold cape. Entitled 'Drawing of Mold object as corslet'. The drawing is possibly mixed media in paiont, lead pencil, charcoal, pen and pastel and shows a man wearing the object as a corslet. The illustrator signed 'Hope-Taylor 1954' in the upper right-hand corner and the image is currounded by a cardboard mount painted white.
