Framed Memento Mori textile. Yellow print on blue silk satin ground. Text arranged in three columns.
Header reads: An Elegy to the Memory of the Reverend Edmund Leigh, Late Curate of Llanedy and Llandilotalybont, who departed this life December 14, 1819, in the eighty-fourth year of his age, after officiating in the above churches nearly sixty years, an example to the world, and an ornament to the churches. By John David, Llandilotalybont. Imitated from the Welch [sic] by the Rev. S. Leigh, Son of the above Rev. Edmund Leigh. 'The Righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance' Psalm cxii., 6.

There is a small image in the upper centre, in yellow print, of a lady standing on the right, leaning with her head in her hand against a tomb inscribed 'Memento Mori' with an urn on the top. There is a willow (?) tree on the right. The columns of text are separated by thin lines and framed by a thin line, interrupted at the corners and in the middle of sides and bottom by stylised flowers/scrolls.
