Free standing mitre saw, on legs drilled for bench mounting.
Maximum depth of cut 24.6 cm; effective length of blade 40.7 cm; saw blade tensioned on frame saw principle, steel rod acting under tension above round centre guide bar; tension adjusted by screw under handle; angle of cut determined by 2 guides, which move vertically on 2 round bars, and are mounted on a carriage rotating about a vertical axis, one in front and the other behind the saw bed; spring-mounted handle at front of carriage positions saw blade at any angle between 45 degrees + 90 degrees, with preset stops at 45 degrees, 60 degrees and 90 degrees.
