S.S. SALMONPOOL (4803gt). Built 1924 by Irvine Shipbuilding & Drydock Co. Ltd., West Hartlepool for Ropner & Co. She was seized at Sandafjord by the Germans in 1940 and renamed the PUTZIG. Returned to the UK in 1945 and renamed EMPIRE SALMONPOOL. Sold in 1947 and renamed IRENE K. Sold in 1955 and renamed WHITE LODGE. Sold to Costa Rica in 1955 and renamed PUNTERAS, she was scrapped in 1958.
