Teapot and cover
Teapot, hybrid-paste porcelain, diamond-shaped form with rounded slightly spreading foot-rim, straight fluted sides, square shoulder, cylindrical neck, slightly fluted curving spout, plain high loop handle, round domed cover with slightly fluted sides, a pine-cone finial to the top of the cover, a pierced steam hole to one side of the cover; painted in polychrome enamels with to either side of the exterior body of the teapot a red bowl with blue ribbons containing a spray of conventional flowers, the bowl flanked on either side by floral sprigs, border around the top of the body of the teapot of a trellis pattern in puce interspersed with panels containing sprays of conventional flowers, the same border around the sides of the cover, to the shoulder of the teapot scattered sprigs of leaves and a red dentil border, a puce band around the exterior neck, puce floral motifs to the spout and handle, the finial picked out in puce.
