Pollard, William (1803 - 1854)
Plate, bone china with white translucency, slightly tapering foot ring with marked transition to ogee-curved sides slightly upturned at the rim, this lobed with six small and six large lobes alternating; decorated in overglaze enamels with a green urn with large loop handles in the centre containing a spray of wild flowers and with wild flowers round its foot, five flower sprigs scattered round the rim, a gilt dentil edge to the rim and some gilt cross-hatching on the urn.
