Bowl
Tarr, James C, ARCA (27/5/1905- /4/1996)
Wooden bowl formed of sections of differently coloured woods, mahogany, laburnam etc, cut into a geometric pattern. Sides of bowl slightly flared, and formed of four bands of yellow coloured wood with a pronounced grain, top band broken with squares of medium brown wood, second band with squares of medium browm wood alternating with double vertical strips of a darker wood, lower two bands broken with the double vertical strips- the strips made of two diferent types of wood, also variations in setting of the grain. Geometrically patterned base, formed around central octagon of orange wood, with three differently coloured strips of wood radiating from it, base held within band of wood cut into sections.
(Nid oes modd darparu delwedd o'r gwaith celf hwn ar hyn o bryd. Mae hyn naill ai oherwydd cyfyngiadau hawlfraint, neu oherwydd bod y ddelwedd yn aros i gael ei digideiddio. Ymddiheurwn am unrhyw anghyfleustra a achosir gan hyn.)
