Black hardback cover with red spine. On the front cover, the title is typed in black ink on a white label (probably glued on by the museum - does not appear original): 'THE INSTITUTION OF MINING ELECTRICAL / AND MINING MECHANICAL ENGINEERS / SOUTH WALES BRANCH / MINUTE BOOK NO. 4 / 19th September 1935 to 1st June 1946.' The book contains text handwritten in black ink on off-white, lined paper. There are also a number of other documents e.g. letters, meetings and agendas.
