Knight, Jessie (Jessie Knight was the first prominent female tattooist in the UK. She took over her father's tattoo shop in Barry aged 18 in 1927 and went on to prominence whilst working in Chatham, Portsmouth and Aldershot. She returned to Barry in 1968, and continued to work there as a tattoo artist into the 1980s.)
Nine images of flash on card. The bottom middle image depicts a rose with the text ‘Rose’. The top left image depicts a couple in uniform and the text, ‘Gladys’.
Other images include, Native American females, woman in red hat with heart and flower, two females in wide-brimmed, high crowned hats and an image of an anchor/ship/cross. Faded ink and pencil drawings are on the reverse.
