Open back with four vertical slats decorated with diamond within zig-zag border in ? poker work. Upper back rail has similar decoration with scroll-carved cresting. Lower rail decorated like slats with lower edge moulded. 'IS' carved on both rails. Turned uprights with knob finials. Seat has moulded edges. Seat rails moulded on lower edges (except back rail). Slat strengthened underneath and stretcher turned. Four side and one back stretcher plain.
