Casgliadau Arlein

This piece belongs to 2 periods. Lower portion is mid 18th century chest of drawers with one above two below and 3 long drawers, some crossbanded with fruitwood. It rests on bracket feet and has brass handles. Upper portion, glazed doors with 3 shelves and arched supports was constructed by original owner, the Rev Evan Richardson (d.1824) donor's great-grandfather. For full details see Acc. Corr.
