Plate, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain, with a green translucency; standing on a straight sided foot rim, cushion moulded and curved spreading sides; densely painted all over with Imari style iron red flowers, and green, underglaze blue and gilt foliage; a narrow underglaze blue and gilt border with five blue motifs with gilt scrolling; gilt lip.
