Photograph of Evalds Janis ('John') Licitus' Registration/Identity Card. Issued 20 February 1947 by the Control Commission for Germany (British Zone), it shows the date of his departure from Germany as 2 June 1948. His registration had to be "renewed" every 3 or 4 months.
