Figure of shepherd and sheep, with a spill vase tree trunk, white earthenware with a blue tinted crackle glaze, on an oval base with a gilt line round. Shepherd in picturesque Scottish dress of short black boots, white stockings, pink breeches, underglaze blue and gilt jacket, lemon waistcoat decorated with red flowers and red dots forming squares, white frilly collar with tassels and gilding, green orange and black plaid with an orange collar and a rust fringe over left shoulder, black hair, white bonnet with a green, red and black plaid band around head and a pink and a green plume, standing with legs crossed leaning and with right hand on hip and with left hand holding a long black crook. One white sheep resting at left, the other white with large orange spots resting on a small promontory above. Brown and yellow ground, rising into an ornate angular green brown tree trunk with an orange interior, ground and tree trunk decorated with clumps of pink, green and orange extruded clay.
