Woolwork picture, 1902. Received on board a ship returning from the Boer War by the donor's father who served with the Kings Own Lancashire Regiment.
Long narrow rectangular embroidery worked in satin stitch woolwork. Depicts the White Ensign and Blue Peter on left, Union Jack and Stars & Stripes on right. Three masted sailing ship in centre. Framed and glazed. Inscription embroidered at either end of picture.
