Casgliadau Arlein

Plate, porcelain with pale greenish translucency, inset base, flat foot ring, ogee curved sides, the rim concave inside; decorated in overglaze enamels with a version of Swansea pattern 197 [sic], a band of poppy seed boxes and flowers in orange-red, leaves in gold and tendrils in puce on a pale buff ground, gilt lines either side and a gilt circle in the well.
