Medieval / Post-Medieval copper alloy mount
Belt or strap mount. The quatrefoil mount is comparatively large. Ribs separate the four convex lobes of the mount. At the centre is an eroded boss. The mount was attached by two integral rivets on the rear (giving the mount an overall depth of 9.0mm).The surface is brown with a recently applied coating.
