black corded silk bodice & skirt; bodice fastens in front, wrapping over to left shoulder, has stand-up collar, sleeves widely puffed from shoulder to elbow & tight below to wrist; upper part of the bodice lace-covered & trimmed with jet beads; there is a black bow at each elbo; skirt is plain except for velvet ribbon trimming at hem.
