Charles II open armchair with rectangular caned back pierced with a crown and putti cresting; initials BO cut into edge of back of splat. The original cane seat has been replaced by an oak one; later solid seat is on spirally turned legs joined by a convex front stretcher; Legs and stretchers twist turned and carved. The heads of back legs surmounted by crowns. The crest rail has a crown supported by two figures. Fitted with an embroidered cushion.
