Teapot and cover
Teapot, hard-paste porcelain, standing on three short feet moulded with flutes and foliate bands, cylindrical body, curving shoulder, raised shaped lip-rim, curving fluted spout with foliate moulding around its lower section, double-curved scrolled loop handle with a modelled animal head at the shoulder, round domed cover with to the top a finial modelled in the form of a lion; finely painted in polychrome enamels with around the exterior sides of the teapot and the top of the cover scattered sprays and sprigs of naturalistic flowers, puce lines around the lower body, shoulder and neck of the teapot, chocolate lines around the lip-rim of the teapot and the rim of the cover, the feet, spout and finial picked out in puce, the handle picked out in puce and chocolate. Part of one of the feet and the lip of the spout broken off, the underside of the cover chipped.
