Roman bone object
Portion of an ox horn-core, ground flat along one side. Mr G.C. Boon noted that "according to the 1964 charge hand, who in his youth has been apprenticed to a local plasterer, his master had used an identical implement to finish difficult corners of plasterwork, and it may be claimed that this is a Roman tool made for the same purpose.
