Jug, pearlware, inset base within a flattened-off foot-rim, globular body, cylindrical neck, plain beak spout, scrolled and foliate-moulded loop handle with raised thumb-spur; the exterior sides of the jug decorated with transfer-prints in blue and in-filled with yellow and brown high temperature colours with a hunting scene showing the figure of a man with a gun and two dogs against a background of trees and bushes, the interior and exterior neck and spout, and the handle, similarly decorated with a pattern of flowers and foliage, these decorations then protected with a resist and the whole of the exterior of the jug and the interior neck and spout covered with a silver lustre. The body cracked around the handle.
