Steel "leading" handcuffs consisting of 2 wrist loops held together by a large rivet. The larger loop, for the prisoner's wrist, closes completely with a clasp. The smaller loop, for the police officer's wrist, remains slightly open. Manufactured by Hiatt of Birmingham Stamped HIATT STEEL. Formerly part of Gwent Police Museum collection
