Knee length ladies' coat; body of black chapel coney (Belgian bred) with large shawl collar of Russian kolinsky (type of marten). Sleeves close fitting at shoulder, widening at cuffs (cuffs also of kolinsky); fully lined with palebrown watered silk; large single fur-covered button fastening at front with silk loop. c.1939.
