Snuffer tray, tin-plate, oblong form with raised out-curving sides and crudely rounded corners; the underside covered with a black japan, the upperside covered with a crimson japan, the upperside decorated in gilt with a wide gilt band around the well and to the sides a floral design against a gilt striped ground.
