Built 1943 as a 7952gt Merchant Aircraft Carrier, EMPIRE MACANDREW by William Denny & Brothers, Dumbarton, for MoWT, managed by Hain Steamship Co., St. Ives. 1946 – Sold to McCowan & Gross Ltd., London, converted to a cargo ship and renamed DERRYHEEN in 1947. 1951 – Sold to Cape of Good Hope Motor Ship Co Ltd., and renamed CAPE GRAFTON., managed by Lyle Shipping Co Ltd., Glasgow. 1963 – Sold to Patricia Cia. Nav. SA, Monrovia, and renamed PATRICIA managed by C.I. Caroussis. 1968 – Sold to Pomos Shipping Co Ltd., Famagusta (same name), managed by Chios Navigation Co Ltd., London (owned by the Caroussis and Pittas brothers). She was broken up at Hsingkiang, China in 1970.
