Eich cwestiynau a'ch sylwadau

Danielle Cowell, 25 Tachwedd 2010

Dyma rai o’ch cwestiynau a’ch sylwadau.

Dyma rai cwestiynau da iawn gan wyddonwyr clyfar iawn! Mae llawer mwy o sylwadau gan ysgolion isod hefyd.

Gofynnodd Ysgol Gynradd Oakfield: 'Beth yw taldra’r genhinen bedr dalaf i gael ei chofnodi yn yr arbrawf hwn?' Yn ysgol Sant Dunawd y cofnodwyd y talaf ar 15/4/2010. Roedd yn 80cm o uchder!

Gofynnodd Ysgol Nant y Coed: 'A yw’r canlyniadau yn debyg i’r canlyniadau ar yr un amser y llynedd?' Cwestiwn da iawn. Dwi wedi ateb y cwestiwn yn lleol ar gyfer Nant y Coed, ar gyfer Cymru ac wedi edrych ar batrymau tymor hir.

Yn lleol yn ysgol Nant y Coed: Ar gyfartaledd roedd llai o law ym mhythefnos gyntaf mis Tachwedd ac roedd yn gynhesach nag yn 2009.

Glawiad: 2009 – 20.9mm. 2010 – 14.6mm.

Tymheredd: 2009 – 7.7°C. 2010 – 14°C.

Oedd y patrymau'r un peth yn eich ysgol chi?

Canlyniadau astudiaeth 2009: www.amgueddfacymru.ac.uk/cy/2952/

Yng Nghymru: Roedd mis Hydref eleni ychydig yn oerach na’r llynedd a chafwyd yr un faint o lawiad ag yn 2009.

Cymedr tymheredd yn 2009 oedd 11°C a 9.8°C yn 2010.

Cymedr glawiad yn 2009 oedd 128.3mm a 123.8mm yn 2010.

Edrych ar y patrymau tymor hir: Roedd y cyfartaledd misol ar gyfer mis Hydref rhwng 1971-2000 yn 6.5°C. Mae’r ddau Hydref diwethaf wedi bod dipyn yn gynhesach mewn cymhariaeth.

Oes unrhyw ysgolion wedi gweld eira eto? Os ydych chi, gadewch i mi wybod.

Diolch yn fawr. Athro’r Ardd.

Some of our bulb pots got knocked over by squirrels this week. We have replanted them and marked which ones were disturbed on our records. We are just letting you know!

Oh no! those squirrels can be a litlle bit clumbsy at times. Well done for marking those that were disturbed - very scientific! As for the bulbs hopefully they will be fine. I've knocked some of my over before. Generally they should be ok. good luck. Prof. P

Our thermometer broke so our temperature readings may be slightly wrong in the middle of the week. Rainfall on Monday was for whole weekend.

Oh dear! Thanks for letting me know I will note it down in my records. Prof. P

Our rainfall reading for Mon 8th was not a daily reading but was for the whole weekend from when we emptied the rain gauge on Friday 5th - as we couldn't come into school to empty the rain gauge on Sunday! Sorry.

Hi, what you are doing is how it should be done. I don't expect anyone to go into school on a sunday! The monday reading includes all the rain that falls over the weekend too. Thanks Prof. P
