ECM: Llandeilo; cross slab (replica)
Fragmentary rectangular (?) shaped slab (with the angles and bottom mostly fractured away). The slab is decorated on both faces with crosses carved in medium to high relief. A (broad). The face is carved in high relief with a cricular panel delineated by a roll-moulding. Within this is an outline equal-arm cross. The cross-arms project into the roll-moulding. The centre of the cross-head is circular, with a second, concentric circle within delineated by a deeply incised line with a deep, circular depression in the centre; the surviving cross-arm terminals are identical. In both upper quadrants is a round boss with a circular depresssion in the centre. In both lower quadrants is a round boss with a circular depression in the centre, in which ther is a small raised boss.
C (broad). The face is carved in relief with an incomplete cross with an uneven rectilinear centre and rectilinear cross-arms forming double-square angles in the centre. There is a fragmentary perimeter of roll-moulding round the cross which is carved with the remains of a dense mesh of now unidentifiable interlace patterns. The arms are linked by a fragmentary, slightly raised, rectangular frame with traces of carving on it. In each slightly sunken interspace is a small rounded boss. On the front is a quadrate wheel cross, on the back; a moulded circular panel enclosing a raised equal-armed cross.
