The Saviour having a crown on his breast (ready to reward St. Thomas) between the letters: A and O[mega]. At either end of the elevation two tall arches within which : dext. two knight, each with shield and raised sword; sin. two monks of the community. Above each arch, an angel in an attitude of expectancy. Above the roof of the Cathedral to either side of the tower, an angel holding a crown. The legend in rhyming hexameter verses, refers to the saint.
